The Lebanese Food Lounge – Mezzeh

Mezzeh serves Middle Eastern and Lebanese food and is located in Indiranagar 80 feet road on the same building as 330 Resto-Bar. The ambiance is nice and cozy with large sofas. The decor is clean with large brick bar on one side. Have the top space in the building the place gets you a step closer with nature. Do visit during the evenings where the dim lights and gentle breeze are simply mesmerizing.

At Mezzeh you can try some really exotic drinks like the Shaken Martini which is made out of dates syrup, yes you heard it right. We also tried the Whiskey Sour which had the slight taste of lemon juice and Lichi juice (as per my preference). If you are an explorer you can leave the decision with the bartender, like me. The bartender created a beautiful Mango based cocktail along with mint, for freshness. The drink was fantastic! What is unique about this place is that you can also order your Sheesha and spend hours here. We had a Pan and Blueberry mix sheesha, which tasted amazing. Mezzeh is the only restaurant in Bangalore that uses a disposable Sheesha pipe so that customers don’t get mixed flavors.

If you are at Mezzeh don’t forget to try the Mezzeh Platter which comes with Hummus, Hummus Peri Peri, Baba Ganoush, Moutabal dips and Fattoush. The platter comes with pita breads. The Hummus Peri Peri was my personal favorite as it had a light kick with the chillies. The Moutabal and Baba Ganoush was made with roasted eggplant and were mild in flavors and taste. What’s best is the fact that you can try the different dips along with Fattoush and get different taste with every bite.

Next, we tried the Falafel Patty which is served with Tahini Yogurt. The Falafel was crispy from the outside and soft from the inside and went well with the Tahini Yogurt. Next came the Mezzeh Veg Pita Platter which had assortment pockets of falafels, char grilled paneer and quinoa roll. We also had the Veg Khabsa rice which is a slowly cooked aromatic rice with cinnamon. This is an exotic fare. For the dessert we had the Tiramisu, a Coffee flavored cake layered with cream and mascarpone cheese. The Tiramisu was made fresh and tasted divine!!

At Mezzeh you can taste some authentic Middle Eastern and Lebanese cuisine while enjoying Sheesha at the laps of Nature!
