How To Create USB Installer To Install macOS 10.13

Tags: macos sierra beta
The 2017 WWDC keynote witnessed the launch of the next Macos High Sierra. As the expectation, the first developer beta of the OS was rolled out, and the testing could begin.
So if you feel interested in this new MacOS Sierra, we’ll show you how to create a USB installer so that you can install the Sierra version to multiple machines without re-downloading, make clean installs, and copy anything for troubleshooting purposes.

However, before starting the process, you should note that:
MacOS High Sierra is still in developer beta, so it’ll require you a paid developer account for the download. If you have not got one, we recommend you to sign up for the public beta instead. One more thing, you will need an USB at least 8GB to store the MacOS 10.13 version. Here are now steps to install the macOS 10.13 developer beta on your Mac.
Create a macOS High Sierra installer
1.      First, download the High Sierra Beta installer, and then put it in /Applications folder. Rename it into: Install macOS 10.13 Beta
2.      Now,  insert your USB into your Mac. If the USB has not been formatted as GUID Partition Map and Mac OS Extended (Journaled), simply launch the Disk Utility and format it. Doing this will wipe all data in the drive.
3.      Now, name for the USB driver USB to make the process easier.
4.      Launch Terminal , and paste in the following commands to transfer the Beta Installer to the USB for the bootup
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ 10.13\ Beta.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ 10.13\ Beta.app --nointeraction
5.      Now, enter your account password, and the process will start. The USB drive will then be unmounted and disappear from the Desktop. You should now be patient as the Terminal will provide a readout of the progress.
Once the files have successfully been copied that means the USB is ready to make it bootable, and Terminal will display a message saying that the process is complete.
