Today, Instagram rolled out a lot of new features for mobile app which includes selfie filters somehow similarly to what was first introduced in Snapchat. Other updates are rewind playback option for videos, hashtag sticker and an eraser brush.
Face filters
Thanks to the new filters of Instagram camera, you are now able to have funny and lovely selfie pictures. The app this time offers eight various face filters in total, and it can be predicted that there will probably have more filters via later updates. To start using this feature, simply tap the new face icon at the bottom right corner next to Instagram camera. You just need to tap a filter to give it a try.
There are some filters you can use with your friend. Furthermore, all the face filters can work with not only photo and normal video but also Boomerang.
Rewind option for videos
This update of Instagram also brings up a new Rewind option for recording videos.
Next to “Boomerang” and “Hands-free” options, you can see “Rewind”. Basically, this mode will record your video as usual, then makes it play reversely.
Hashtag stickers
Apart from existing stickers, Instagram has added some new hashtag stickers. In order to use it, simply tap the sticker icon in the upper right corner then you can select and adjust it as your hobby. Moreover, adding hashtags using regular text is also possible.
Additionally, hashtag stickers are interactive. Specifically, users watching your Story are able to tap the hashtag sticker or text to access the hashtag page and explore relevant posts.

Eraser brush tool
With the help of this new tool, you are enabled to delete parts of your drawings or color. Instagram suggests that users should choose the fill tool after having taken a picture or video to color the entire screen. After that, you are able to use Eraser tool to remove the color layer and reveal some parts of your photo or video behind. Updating these new features is on Instagram 10.21 version for iOS.
