Cashflow 101 Board Game By Robert Kiyosaki | Uboxed

Cashflow 101

The first time we have ever heard of the Cashflow 101 Board Game was at the Blogapalooza 2015 event where Laurus Enterprises had a booth. Dave is a fan of Robert Kiyosaki but wasn't really aware of the game the author of the bestselling book, "Rich Dad Poor Dad" developed. After attending the Robert Kiyosaki Live in Manila seminar last November, Dave regretted not purchasing a Cashflow 101 of our own. That is where I come in, I pulled some strings and got us one from the US. It took us a while to get it, but it was worth the wait. Let's check out our happy mail!

Cashflow 101 is a board game created by Robert Kiyosaki, author of the bestselling book Rich Dad Poor Dad. The objective of this game is to “Get out of the Rat Race” and onto the “Fast Track,” how to make your money work for you – not the other way around. It is an educational board game that simulates real life financial strategies and situations. As a simulation, the players will learn valuable lessons and gain priceless insights into personal finance and investing without having to put their actual money at risk. Cashflow 101 is the ultimate realization of Robert Kiyosaki's vision of an interactive tool for financial education, and the fulfillment of his belief that we learn best by doing. It is an educational board game that teaches accounting, finance, and investing at the same time - and makes learning fun!

When you order Cashflow 101, you get a box that contains the complete board game and a set of 3 audio cds (both are sealed) which basically tells you how to play the game. Let's open it and see what's inside.

Box contents:

  • The Large game board
  • One sheet intro from Robert Kiyosaki
  • Game Instructions
  • Pad of Income Statement Sheets
  • Pad of Player Sheets
  • 6 Player Tokens & Cheese Tokens
  • 12 Profession Cards
  • 42 The Market cards
  • 42 Big Deals cards
  • 42 Doodad cards
  • 56 Small Deals cards
  • Game money (40 each of $10, $20, $50, $500, $1K, $5K, $10K, $100K, $500K and $1 Mil, plus 80 of $100)
  • 6 Cashflow pencils
  • 3 Dice
  • 12 Chips for each of the six colors (it appears that some sets may have 10 chips per color)
We haven't tried Cashflow 101 yet but we are planning to, as soon as we finish listening to all 3 audio cds and get a grasp of the game's rules. It is recommended for adults and kids ages 14 and up, so Miss Artsy still has a few more years to go before she can join us in playing. Stay tuned for my follow up article after playing the game around 30 times for the review!
