Snowmen Selling Snowballs Craft

#TigerStrypesBlog #Snow #Winter

I know, I know…I haven’t done a craft post in months.  Last year was crazy, with learning how to be an empty nester, dealing with my husband getting hurt and having surgery…I just didn’t have time to do much other than wife tasks at home.  Now with the New Year (Happy New Year, by the way), I hope to be able to do more crafts and projects to share.

I’m trying really hard to get my graphic design business going here in the mountains of Arizona, so that’s taking a lot of my time.  In between projects, planning and meetings, I want to try and tackle more fun crafts to learn, and share!!

Let me know something in the comments, that you hope to achieve this year.  We can try and be accountability partners, to help each other have an amazing 2020!!  …goodness, that’s still weird to say!

I sure hope that you like the tutorial, and pray that you have a blessed day!

Please be sure to comment and share this craft on your social media channels – thanks so much!!

Instructions for the Snowmen Selling Snowballs:

Shopping after the holidays is always one of my favorite things.  Craft supplies galore…and for a discount!  Shopping at one of our local stores, I found some clear Christmas ornaments on sale.  Figuring that would be a great way to make something fun for the winter, and even keep some to give out next Christmas.  I also got some fake snowballs from the dollar store, and filled the ornaments about half full.  There are no specifics on how much of the snowballs that you use.  After that, just reattach the top back to the ornament.

After that, I took my bendable snowmen in for surgery.  Well, kind of…  Using a needle and thread, I poked it through the hat to create a loop, that I knotted to turn into a hanger.  I  was going to hang mine up, but you could totally skip this step, if you just want them to stand around for decoration.

After that, I got my trusted glue gun and attached the ornament full of snowballs to one of the hands, with a small dot of glue.

Next, I used my Cricut to make some small signs to glue to the other hand.  These could be changed to whatever you want them to say, and can also be done by hand.  I just wanted people to be able to read mine, so I let the machine do the work.

Now you can use them anywhere in the house to decorate for the winter season, or give out as New Year gifts to friends and family.  These are an easy option to use for ornaments next year, as well.

So, what do you think?  I hope you like it!

Please take a minute to leave me a comment on what you would like to create, and maybe if you have any tips on how to do it different, or better!

Be sure to tweet, pin, share, etc. – thanks!!
