[Day 26] Typical Beauty Blogger Problem | Things Every Beauty Blogger Should Know

Hi everyone and happy Friday, I hope you are doing great and ready for day number 26 of my 30 Days Beauty Blogger Challenge. I've been blogging since May of 2013 and had many successes and failures throughout my path. Today I want to share with you some of the most common problems I have encountered as a beauty blogger, while working with beauty brands, fashion stores and creating new content. And of course give you some tips that will help you to avoid these issues.

Stolen Pictures | Watermarks

I love taking and editing pictures of the makeup products I revie, and I also love to create step by step makeup tutorials for my blog. Most of the pictures you are going to post online are going to be used on different beauty websites, platforms and other places without your permition, it is a simple fact every blogger should accept. Probably the most common and simple way to protect your property from thievery are watermarks. You can simply add a name of your blog or name of your Instagam account to your picture.

Sample Countries

This Typical Beauty Blogger problem is well-known by those bloggers, who write their content in English, but live outside of US or Geat Britain. Let's face the truth, most of the cool blogger opportunities are available only for residents of Unted States. So many times my blog were refused by brands, when they found out that my blog is based in Brazil.

Free Promo Posts

There are tons of brands, who seek for a free promo posts on your blog in exchange for small 'possibility' of an exposure on their media accconts of their 'favorite' articles. Please, undertsnad me right, I have nothing against this kind of collabs witj brands, but most of the times they don't share your blog posts, just abuse bloggers labor and take our time.

Beauty Community

Beauty bloggers' community is not so sweet and freindly, as it looks at first sign. Most of the time other bloggers treat you as a rival, rather than a friend or blogger buddy. I faced few little blogger 'disloyalties' myself and now understand things differently. Unfortunetely, there is no certain sheltering recipe on how ro protect your heart.

Dissatisfied Customers

There are some moments, when a sponsored blog post have been published, but the customer is not satisfied with the quality of the content or the backlinks. How to avoid misunderstanding? First of all you need to discuss all the details with the customer before writing a blog post and, if possible, sign a contract. Then write a blog post and send it for customer. You can use Google docs and send the link by email.

That's all for now ladies and gentlemen thank you so much for reading my post. I hope my little 'bumps' will teach you how to avoid these issues in your blogging career. Please let me know in the comments what are the typical beauty blogger you've encoutered. I want to wish you tons of inspiration and patience along your way. Keep up with my 30 Days Blogger Challenge, follow my Twitter, like January Girl on Facebook and browse my makeup looks on Instagram.
