Anyone have test a grid tie inverter on an off grid installation ?
I have an off grid 48v solar pannel installation with a wind turbine controler which charge battery too.
Recently i bought an Aurora PVI-6000 wind, to avoid lost wind energy when battery are full. because it stop my wind turbine when battery are full.
So i would want to use the Autora on my system, to add energy, problem is when i plug on my installation, inverter stop directly when he connect on the off grid.
Somes person say than the voltage will be too high without enought load by the wind inverter and all inverter (solar and wind) stop by security.
Sorry for my inverter i can't enter in service mode to try somes setting on voltage, the seller not give me the service code and to contact power one or abb is not very easy now... i try to plug on grid tie and have same problem, i wonder if the setting are correct inside. Error is same on grid tie and off grid, grid fail.
