Home Battery to reduce electricity cost

I was wondering for places with High Electricity cost with high Peak Hours such as Ontario, I was wondering:

1. Are tenants able to install the Tesla powerwall? This would be used to provide backup power. ( home battery that would require an installer to come in and change the circuits in the house or apartment)

2. Do people complain about the increasing electricity prices or the price of electricity in general? Would they be interested in something that can reduce their electricity bill by 20%?

We are planning to build a 10KWH home battery with behind the meter storage. This will be a UPS, and it will store energy in peak hours and use it during non peak hours. No installer will be needed as this will save you installation cost and the hassle to contact an installator.

Oh, and we do plan to incorporate green energy in the future!!
