Last Day in Shibuya – Nintendo Store, Disney Afternoon Tea, Cat Café Mocha

On my last day in Shibuya, I made sure to start it off with something special – a Disney-themed Afternoon Tea at Disney Harvest Market. I had reserved the first slot in the morning, eager to experience the magic of Disney infused into every bite. Although it was necessary to pay (and eat ^.^) for two people since the service was designed for a minimum of two, the experience proved to be worthwhile. As I stepped into Disney Harvest Market, I was greeted warmly by the staff. They led me to my table, which was beautifully set with whimsical Disney decorations, setting the stage for what promised to be a delightful experience. Throughout the meal, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable experience. They took photos of me with the food, capturing moments of joy and excitement that I would cherish long after the meal was over.

After finishing the afternoon tea, I was ready for shopping! With a full belly and a heart filled with happiness, I head over to Shibuya Parco. The sixth floor, known as Cyberspace Shibuya, was a paradise for otaku enthusiasts like myself. Here, I found myself surrounded by a dizzying array of stores dedicated to all things anime, manga, and gaming. From the Pokémon Center, Nintendo Store to the JUMP Shop, each store offered a treasure trove of merchandise featuring my favorite characters and franchises. I lost track of time as I wandered from aisle to aisle, marveling at the sheer variety of products on display.

As the day wore on, I found myself in need of a break from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya. Luckily, I came across Cat Café Mocha, which happens to be my favourite among cat café chains. I have been to quite a few Mocha cat cafés across Tokyo, but I hadn’t managed to visit the one in Shibuya Koen-dori until now. So, you can imagine how thrilled I was to find it! The inviting wooden interior and the peaceful atmosphere gave me an essential break from the overwhelming environment of the shopping center. After spending some quality time cuddling with the cats and enjoying a refreshing beverage, I felt rejuvenated and ready to tackle the rest of my day.

I boarded the Narita Express on the next day and watched Shibuya fade into the distance. Reflecting on the incredible experiences I had in Japan, I couldn’t help but feel grateful. As I looked forward to my next visit to Japan, I knew that this country would always hold a special place in my heart. Until next time, Japan!
