Summer time has started and it only means one thing OUTING. Whether it is with your family, friends or co-workers this time of the year is a time for bonding not just inside your home but outside under the scourging heat of the sun.

Last May 1, 2013, me, including mother and my cousins went to Green Nature Resort and Leisure Park. It is located in the higher part of San Mateo Rizal. In terms of the travel going there, you can ride a tricycle which cost Php70.00 per ride from Sea Oil Gasoline Station Patiis branch. Half of the journey, you'll be travelling in a smooth road then be ready for a rough road in the other half.

When you arrived at the place the parking lot, inside the resort, is covered with gravel stone. But there is also an available paid parking lot just in front of the resort.

Once you get to the counter, you'll be greeted by a friendly cashier. Not only that, all of the people who work there are very approachable and are ready to give you their best hospitality.

Once you entered the place, you'll get awe. The place is screaming nature, with plants and trees everywhere. I even had a chance to get some kamias fruits. They also have this big fish pond where you can enjoy feeding the Koi fishes.
They have five swimming pools. The first one is hidden near the entrance and is small, looks like a Jacuzzi. It is connected to the second pool through a mini-waterfall.
The 3rd one is for the kids wherein a playground with big bucket is in the center where children can play.
The fourth pool is the largest and is divided into two. The first half is 3-4 ft deep and includes a slide. While the other half also includes a slide, the biggest in the resort, and is 4 to 6 ft deep.
The last pool is in the other side of the club house. It is just a lap pool, it is 4-5 ft deep. The best time to swim here is at night because the light installed in the pool gives you a relaxing feeling.

They offer a place where you can grill your food and have a faucet just for cleaning your eating utensils.
For recreational activities, they do offer many. If you're into sports, they have a covered basketball court and billiard tables.
If singing is what you enjoy, you can rent their Karaoke machine for the whole day.
Bungee jumping and climbing is also available.
If you want to get inked, they have a tattoo booth.
There is an available train that will give you a ride in the whole resort, for a price, this is for kids but adults can also enjoy this.
They also have an available playground for the kids and kids at heart (ehem!)

A clubhouse is available for any of your needs, like water, floaters and the likes. But I might just remind you their items are more pricey compare to the items outside the resort.
For me, this is a fun place to go with the people who are close to you. I guarantee you that you'll enjoy spending some of your time here. And I'll surely go back in there again.
