Although cork shoes are stylish, you may be hesitant to buy cork-heeled women’s shoes,  because they can become soiled easily. But with a bit care, you can make easily even the heavily soiled or destroyed cork shoes to fair and wearable condition. The following tips can help you to restore your cork shoes back in commission. Work out a cleaning solution for your cork shoes. Put about five drops of the gentle detergent to a half gallon of warm water.  Make sure the detergent are nontoxic so that they can avoid any chemicals to do harm to your shoes. Then mix half a cup of white vinegar to it and swirl around. It’s not necessary to make suds.

Do not sand the cork shoes unless the they become dry completely, which almost need one day or two. Do not apply gib pressure or sand  in the same area repeatedly. Because by doing this, you are decreasing the vamp of cork, only a few times can be done before you step out with your shoes. Nevertheless, an extremely light sanding can get rid of nearly all existence of spots. Only heavy stains are necessary because they will not come out with the cleaning solution.
