Selena Gomez has reached another milestone. She is the first celebrity to have over 100 million followers on Instagram. 113 million followers to be exact, which is almost 14 more than the second most famous celebrities on Instagram, Taylor Swift.
But that’s not all, she also had 8 of the 10 most popular celebrity photos and seven of the top 10 celebrity videos. Her most popular photo is a photo for a Coca-Cola ad, where she drinks from the iconic bottle with her lyrics on it. The photo has over 6,5 million likes and 275,000 comments. Her most popular video has almost 24 million views, almost 5 million likes and 209,000 comments. Selena picked up over 50 million followers in 2016 alone.

This is quite an achievement for Selena since she has had a rough 2016. She has checked herself into rehab and took a 14-weeks break from social media after dealing with anxiety, panic attacks and depression due to her lupus diagnosis.
