As the seasons change our sensibilities change, our moods alter, what we look for moves on. So the question is – should our branding and marketing change as well, along with the design and copy that goes with it? Personally I would say yes! While we may hope for warmth and sun in winter, in summer we look for ways to enjoy it perhaps, sometimes we look to escape its harshness – come on! we have all managed a little sunburn here and there, haven’t we?
With the change in seasons we can put a different slant on things. We can set our products and services in this weather and all that it brings with it (apart from the snow shovelling services, of course!). Think about the emotions, wishes, wants and needs running through these days. Ask yourself how can you reflect your products and services in all that is going on – practically for people and in their minds, emotions and all the rest.
