High in the mountains of Montreaux, runs the Lantern Trail of Les Pléiades. Not the typical choice of visitors to the area, the lantern trail offers the opportunity to snowshoe through Alpine forests, revel in the silence and serenity of snow covered landscapes.

In association with the communes of Blonay and Saint-Légier-La Chiésaz, the Society for the Development of Blonay-Les Pléiades has compiled maps of the various trails that can be taken on snowshoe. Lit by lanterns, the trails are all clearly marked and walkable all through winter.
