Cleaning your fireplace is a task done every weak, and in season maybe more often. Besides a broom and a shovel, alot of people use a special kind of vacuumcleaner or vacuumcleaner add-on. Modern fireplaces are convectionovens, and they have dobbelt sides, which leaves a cavity in which you could create suction that would take out all the ashes, making it easier and more efficient to clean your fireplace:

The cavity could be accesable from a hatch on the back or side of the fireplace.
