Idea #236 – 3D Animationtool for Smartphone

There is already a lot of animationtools around, and also as apps for the various kinds of smartphones, nomatter if its windows, adroid or iOS based. But this idea for an app, makes use of one of the things that originally made the iPhone special. Well there where many things, but one of them was the gyro-function or gyroscope. This makes it possible for the smartphone to track and use the position of the phone in time and space, meaning that it tracks angles and Movement. What you want in a solid 3D animationtool, is to be able to create movement in in space and time.

This idea is to create an app where you simply record the movement of whatever Figure you’ve created, byt moving the phone around. This will make it a WHOLE lot easier to create awesome 3D animations in very short time.

A further development would be the possibility to record movement for each part of a figure and combine them later, so that the arm is moving differently from the body, and later on to include different figures interacting, however the renderingtime will at some point be a challenge on a smartphone with the current technology.
