i have so many mems listening to the counting crows growing up! in manomet and with my parents and from concerts as a Seventeen year old version of myself. they just bring me right back to those times and i love them so!! and as it turns out, last night they were playing about a mile from our housey! so austin and i went to go hang out with my past one Summer monday night! and it was the best.  there is a lyric of theirs that sums me up so very well: i can't remember all the times i tried to tell myself to hold on to these moments as these pass! seriously, me=always. those moments are never lost of me. i think if your heart beats like mine then its such an important thing to soak them up and appreciate them and so thats just what we did. concert going with my husband! in the future! all the while having flashbacks to being that seventeen year old girl at a concert of theirs in connecticut many moons ago! some things change. and some stay the same. thank goodness for that! my brother says it the best, because his heart beats like mine! he says those songs you grew up on, they are so nostalgic and so good for the soul. amen amen amen! and it was so good for my soul!  thanks CC - see you next time!!
