may i just say thank you, parents before us, for the whole babymoon concept! what a novel idea. one that we happily obliged in a few weeks ago. it was our pre-baby duty after all ;)  with zika popping up in so many locations we played it safe and didnt venture too far from home, but far enough to be right on the water and surrounded by palms. i'm so glad we did! for a lot of reasons. but for one, its always fun to get away for a little bit with my bff. Ponte Vedra turned out to be the perfect place. we stayed at sawgrass marriot which is right down the street from TPC sawgrass which was pretty neat! and if you're not familiar, it is where they have a big fancy golf championships. we both enjoyed getting to explore one morning and then peaking around the pro shop afterwards. austin bought a sweet blanket for our littlest girl and that had me flashing back to baby me at a whole three months of age with my own dad. [and do i remember such a memory, no! but thank goodness for pictures and a dad who can recall such events].  my dad had actually sent me a picture a few weeks back of me and him at tpc sawgrass without even knowing austin and i were headed there :) i got to tag along with him as a 3 month babe. and so fast forward thirty one years later, and here i am, at the same place, with my husband, my own baby girl in utero. pretty special!! full circle moments, i can't miss indulging in such sweetness. so we enjoyed a lot of seafood, beach basking, relaxing!! it was so nice. oh and a lot of corn hole tourneys [every single day. who knew this would be such a talent of mine?! no one. but it wasss!]  it was wonderful and i miss it!! but happy to have the mems! thanks ponte vedra! we will be back!! next time with baby hyatt in the flesh :)
