I'm pretty traditional with my Spring makeup. I stick with pinks and nude shades. And honestly, on super busy days when I just want to get out the door and not keep my poor fiance waiting for an hour, I simply take that e.l.f. bronzer blush duo pictured above and swipe some of it over my cheeks and lids then finish off by using my brow pencil to quickly line my lids, then of course finish with mascara. I should do a tutorial post on my last-minute makeup routine, huh?

For day to evening, I've been using this Maybelline Color Molten Duo Eyeshadow in Roze Haze. I leave on my day time shadow (which tends to be a pink or light brown lately) as a base and use the light pink shade on the inner corners, just under the brow line, and just a dab over the lid. Then I use the darker color to define the crease and outside edges. The darker shade can also go over the lid, concentrated toward the outer corners, for a colored smokey eye. Pictured above, the e.l.f. "California" baked eye shadow palette has some other really great metallic shades that are perfect for adding over daytime makeup for a quick touch up before going out in the evening.

Another cute but quick eyeshadow product I love is the Maybelline Color Tattoo by Eye Studio Creme Eyeshadow. I haven't been too impressed with the matte leather shades, but the Metallics, like the "Inked In Pink" (pictured above) and "Bad to the Bronze" shades are perfect for a very quick look. You can layer it with other eyeshadows, but just a few swipes of one of the metallic cream eyeshadows, and you're good to go.

The lipstick pictured above is one I started using last spring and find myself loving again this year. It's Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Fuchsia Fusion, and it's the perfect shade between sexy red and a romantic pink.

My favorite nail polish all spring has been the Essie "Watermelon" shade. I have darker olive-tone skin, so I don't tend to wear pastel pinks, not even during spring. But this rich reddish pink is the perfect update for spring and summer, as opposed to my usual classic red nails that I like during fall and winter. And essie is so worth the price; the quality and staying power has completely converted me from less expensive polishes.
