Another Look at Dresser Mansion

It is a very happy Wedding Wednesday for me! RSVP's have begun to arrive in the mail, and we are just two months away from the big day.:) This past weekend, my fiance and I got to tour our wedding venue again, because we had an appointment for table set up, to plan exactly how many tables we want for the reception and where they should be placed. It was so amazing to see it again, and I've been listening to wedding songs and dreaming about our wedding everyday since.

I'd forgotten just how beautiful Dresser Mansion is in person. The decor and the architecture of the mansion is all in Italian Renaissance, a style which after many trips to Philbrook, I've come to recognize as one of my favorite looks. It's elegant and fancy, just like traditional English and French decor, but with the added bonus of very warm colors and materials. From the stucco walls to the red velvet drapes, the glowing sconces, and all of the dark wood; it's absolutely perfect for an elegant and traditional black tie wedding. And Dresser in particular is perfect for a small yet formal wedding.

It'll be even more beautiful as it gets closer to our wedding, because they'll have all of their Christmas decorations up, which is perfect because Ken and I both love Christmas, and we got engaged during Christmas last year. :) Next month we'll be taking some engagement photos there too, and I cannot wait!

This weekend is our wedding shower at Pinkitzel, and I couldn't be more excited about that as well.:) I'm so thankful for my fiance who is giving me the wedding of my dreams and for my maid of honor and bridesmaids for giving us a gorgeous wedding shower. You can keep up with daily posts on Instagram.:)
