Bloody Eyeball Doughnut Holes

I love this Halloween dessert so much, because it starts with store-bought powdered Doughnut Holes - no baking required! I think it's just as important to have Halloween treats for the grown-ups as it is for the kids, and these bloody eyeballs are perfect for the big kids. They'd also work well for a scary movie night.

INGREDIENTS
  • powdered doughnut holes
  • red gel food coloring
  • black decorator icing in a tube (if you can't find this at your grocery store, try a craft store)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Start with the red gel coloring and lightly dab a line from the center outward in a crooked motion, then use a toothpick to create more tiny branches (or veins) and repeat several times.

2. Dab a small dot of the black icing in the center. Repeat on the rest of the doughnuts.

That's it! You're done! Have a Happy Halloween! :)
