I'm gonna tell you the most tragic and Beautiful Story ever..The night me and Amy(my sis) were feeding Cocoa and Pepper(our Dogs)..Our maid comes in the darkness holding something in her hand that looked like a frog..She was trying to give it to me in my hand but I freaked out and screamed..then I saw it..a little Baby Squirrel..But as I was about to take it from her. She said sadly, "he's dead" (in Hindi). I was really sad. I took it from her hand and saw it really wasn't breathing. It was ice cold. :'(
I kept it on my palm lying on it's back and I kept rubbing his stomach and gently pressing his chest. And this baby suddenly woke up by taking a big gasp of air.
HE'S CAME BACK TO LIFE!! =D
It was like a miracle.
And so I gave him the name "Rakkīnattsu" which is a Japanese translation of "Lucky Nutty". And yes, he's a lil' buck.
And he was so hungry when it came back to life..he was suckling on my fingers..I quickly ran into the kitchen and fed him some milk(which is not safe). I later realized, that wasn't a good thing I did..But my lucky nutty didn't get sick. But I strictly recommend any of you it's a bad idea to feed the cows milk..I will get to that point when I'll give you it's diet.
After I fed him a little milk, I decided to google search help on 'how to nurture baby squirrels?'
And there, on YouTube I found a beautiful video explaining almost everything you need to know. But one little message of theirs is incorrect..but their method is right. So I only recommend you to follow their method if you do find an orphan baby squirrel.

The next day, I took Rakkīnattsu to the Vet..I asked her about the feed to provide this lil' buck..She told me to feed it ORS, Gatorade, Coconut water and coconut milk.
I asked her about feeding him milk..she told me its not safe because it's too strong for their digestive system..Most squirrels died by diarrhea and dehydration by feeding them that.
She also told me that Rakkīnattsu is 12days old(on 3.10.10)..I purchased a dropper, coconut milk, ORS, Gatorade and a small little box.
And when I came home, My Sister told me with joy she found the squirrels nest with many other squirrels. So we could keep this baby squirrel back there where he has more better chances of surviving with his mother than with us..But as we were about to go there our maid removed the rest of the pups and threw the nest away.So we got two more orphan pups to take care of.
Marie, my cousin sister took the lil' doe and named her "Pixie"
And my sister, Amy took the other lil' buck and named him "Chickoo"
Well they are in good health..We finally even got them to eat..they love running around us and sleeping on our shoulders..They give out this call out cry when they are hungry..They are soo getting use to us.
