Lately, I’ve been reflecting on my some of my shopping habits and the people behind the brand. When it comes fashion, I like to purchase from people I know, like or look up to. Helping Veterans

Sierra Delta helps supply service dogs to veterans. Blue Buffalo®​ donates money to help supply service dogs to veterans. Dogs can do wonders for humans and I love how service dogs can have an impact on a human for the better. I see a lot of service dogs out here in Los Angeles, it’s always touching to see how they keep their humans safe. I once watched a seeing eye dog get his human safely across the street (using a crosswalk). It was amazing to see the focus of this dog. There are many different types of service dogs and their qualities are amazing.

I strongly believe there should be no shortage of service dogs for people in need. Unfortunately service dog programs are expensive. There are not a lot of qualified training organizations and the results are often inconsistent. There needs to be more support for service dogs and their humans after the initial training and placement is completed.

Right now 1 in 150 vets in need of service dogs are currently having their needs met. Sierra Delta’s mission is to support more veterans in need by pairing them up with trained canine companions. The increased access of dogs solves two issues; it gives our military heroes the support they need and prevents rescue dogs from having to be euthanized.
