Many Technical features that are taken for granted in today's automobiles were only introduced as Standard Equipment because of the determined efforts of valiant pioneers. Carl F. W. Borgward (1890-1963) was one of them. The Direction Indicator was one of the trendsetting technical innovations that made the post-war BORGWARD Hansa 1500 a milestone of automotive history.
