  • Perez Zeledon - Felt shaking movement for 20 seconds. TV was rattling on wall fortunately did not fall

  • Dominical - Water sloshed out of swimming pool, items fell off of shelves
  • volcan chiriqui - Strong shaking
  • Boquete - Weak shaking
  • San Jose - Pretty long shake, lasted at least 30 seconds. Started very soon and after 20 seconds it turned up quite a bit.
  • Boquete - Entire house shaking, seemed like windows were going to shake out of their frames. About 12:15 AM, lasted approximately 30 seconds. Unknown if house damage occurred, will inspect tomorrow in daylight.
  • Volcancito (Boquete) - Strongest in a about 2 years.
  • Boquete - Strong shaking. Lasted about 20 seconds. I would guess close to a 6.
  • San José - Pretty strong shake. Started slow but gained strength as it progressed, and peaked about 35-40 seconds later. No damage, no fallen objects, no power failure in this area.
  • San Isidro de El General - They are always side-to-side, but this was really strong. Chandelier and doors swinging. Loud noise right before. After about 7-8 seconds it wasn't stopping but seemed to get stronger so I went outside - walking was challenging. Seemed like at least 20 seconds. That was scary.
  • San Pedro - Lasted 8-10 seconds.
  • POTRERILLOS ARIBA - ABOUT 1220 AM SHOCK FOR 40-45 SECONDS. JUST FELT WEAK AFTER SHOCKS WHICH LAST 2-3 SECONDS AT 12:50 AM. WILL CHECK FOR DAMAGE WHEN LIGHT OUTSIDE.
  • coronado de osa - Very strong shaking
  • Alajuela - Approximateley 30 to 40 seconds seemed to get stronger at the end.
  • Jaco - Moderate shaking
  • Boquete - 12:32am - It was the strongest and longest I have felt in over 3 years in Boquete town. House shook so much things were falling off shelves, dogs running around madly barking and very scared.
