Killer Cardio For Women!

have been a personal fitness trainer and strength specialist in the Atlanta area now for over 10 years. The one thing I can tell you ladies that are serious about getting a Killer Cardio Workout is that you have got to incorporate interval training into your workouts if you want the big results. More specifically, you have got to include body weight drills followed up with intermittent bouts of cardio to obtain the full benefits. Keep reading if I have your attention.



Killer Cardio Workout For Women



You see in order to achieve a high level of cardiovascular conditioning you have got to significantly raise your level of perceived exertion. So what does this mean? Well, in short, you basically have to get your heart rate up in a hurry and break a sweat! The longer you are able to do this throughout the course of your workouts the more cardiovascular benefit you will acquire. This is how you will get a Killer Cardio workout and effective fitness program in place.



To give you an example of a simple interval style workout you can apply just about anywhere and at anytime I will tell you about one that I like to implement with my clients. This little workout has gotten everyone I have worked with some huge results in the cardio side of their training.



To begin, you will want to pick a body weight drill to start. For the sake of argument lets say you are doing Squat Thrust calisthenics (a whole body exercise) and Jump Ropes. For the interval you will begin by knocking out a series of squat thrust for say 10 to 15 reps. Once you complete the squat thrusts then immediately perform jump ropes for a bout of 30 seconds without resting between the transition. Once you complete the jump ropes then allow yourself a minute or so of rest and then repeat the process! You will quickly see why this is such an effective cardio training plan only after a few rounds.



This is just one variation of this particular combination, but you can vary and change it up to better suit your own abilities.
