It seems like everyone around you (maybe even including yourself) is losing their job, getting less hours at work, tightening expenses, and/or looking for a way to make an extra income. Well, you are not the only one! This economical slowdown has led to a real need for people to make Money from home. Although there are many ways to make money from home, (i.e. envelope stuffing, surveys, MLM etc.), it seems to me that the easiest and most efficient ways would be online. You have used the internet for shopping, keeping up with the news, keeping in contact with old friends, and other recreational activites. Why not use the internet to make more money so that you can spend more time doing those things that you love to do?

Now, I am not saying that you should try to go out and figure this stuff out on your own . This will take you a lot longer to achieve the results you are looking for and might lead to frustration and disappointments that are unnecessary. You must keep in mind that whenever you try anything new, there is bound to be places where you will get stuck or something might trip you up. But if you take the time and learn from people that are actually doing the things that they are teaching you, then your road to success will be a smoother one.  I will also be here to help you along the way :0).

Selling on E-Bay

To make money online using E-Bay, you have to find products at discounted prices and sell them at a higher price to E-Bay shoppers. Sounds simple enough! Well, it isn't impossible, but it isn't that easy either. There is a bit of work that you have to put in to get started. The first thing that you must do is find a place where you can have access to cheap or free products that you can re-sell on E-Bay. Items can be found at garage sales, in your own house, or drop ship companies that will sell to you at a dealer discount. If you want to learn more information about selling on E-Bay, I highly recommend reading The 4-Hour Workweek, Expanded and Updated: Expanded and Updated, With Over 100 New Pages of Cutting-Edge Content. Timothy Ferriss has changed the way I viewed life in general (I know! them pretty dang serious words there buddy!' ).  Read it and you will see what I mean.  He gave me a new prespective on money, work and vacations.  If you haven't read it and want to make money while selling products online, you SHOULD!  You will thank me later ;)

Freelance Writing or Tech Support

There are sites (i.e. http://www.elance.com/)  online where you can register yourself for services.  If you can write html code, build websites, write blogs, photograph things, or translate into a language, freelancing might be a good source of income for you.  Would be employers look for people to work on an hourly, contract, temporary or full time position depending on their needs.  When you register on the site, you will want to list all of your skills and specify a $ figure per hour that you are willing to work for.  Many of the projects consist of things like photographing property for banks and/ or real estate professionals, building web pages, advertising on social media sites (i.e. Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIN, Twitter, etc.) or other duties that can be done from home.   If you are interested in learning more about freelancing, just look it up on Amazon.com or run down to the nearest Barne's & Noble Bookstore and look for books on freelancing.  (BTW... Timothy Ferriss also covers freelancing in the 4-hour work week.  He gives you ideas for freelancing that I had never thought of before. )



Internet Marketing (i.e. affilliate marketing, jv partnerships, etc.)


Internet Marketing consists of driving traffic to pages for a fee or commission. Many developers of products are more than willing to pay you if you can bring buyers to their page. Using this method of making money online, you do not need to buy anything and you do not need to pay to have the right to sell their products. In fact, you do not have to sell their product at all! Remember, your job is only to direct traffic to their sales page.  (Well, maybe there is a way to drive them to your sales page... stay tuned!  I feel a blog coming on! ::doing the robot::)  Let's face it... people are going to buy something when they are good and ready to buy something.  The only way of making it as an internet marketer is to align the right people with the right information, services and products.  In this case, if you do not make any sales, you do not lose anything at all (besides the time you spent working on the project). This part just motivates me to work smarter (notice I didnt say harder) so that my efforts will pay off.
