The Sonoma Coast

The Sea Ranch Lodge, set in Sonoma County on 53 acres of dramatic Northern California coastline, was built in 1968 and is one of the oldest buildings in The Sea Ranch. The North Building, has been completely reimagined which offers 17 intimate guest rooms for a quiet, coastal escape that inspires guests to respond to – and live in harmony with – the natural elements. Following the complete restoration and revitalization of The Lodge’s public spaces in October 2021 and the debut of The Sea Ranch Living home rental program early 2023, the opening of The Sea Ranch Lodge guest rooms marked the final phase of its multi-million-dollar reimagination.

The Sea Ranch Lodge’s South Building serves as the community’s cultural hub, which boasts The Dining Room, The Solarium, The Bar + Lounge, The Café, and The General Store. All of which are available for The Sea Ranch Lodge’s guests and residents to enjoy. Travelers can explore the beauty of The Sea Ranch through a variety of leisure activities including self-guided nature walks with trails to Bihler Point or Black Point, tide pooling and picnic lunches at Black Point Beach, and strolls to the iconic Sea Ranch Chapel.
