Now, I’ve tried NOT to include the ones you see recommended everywhere on the internet.

But, if you do spot a familiar title in my list, I really think it’s worth talking about.

These movies made me think, and I think you’ll enjoy them too, especially if you’re looking for the business motivational movies.

So, grab some popcorn, and here you go, a curated list of the best entrepreneur movies to both entertain and educate.

1. “The Founder” (2016)

It’s a movie that tells the story of this guy, Ray Kroc, who took a little burger place and turned it into the giant McDonald’s we all know.

This movie shows us how businesses can grow, use franchise systems, and sometimes, make us think about the right and wrong in the business world.

It’s a journey into the world of small beginnings turning into something huge, with lots of twists and turns.

“The Founder” feels like a real-life business adventure that will teach you about the importance of not giving up and having a smart plan in the business game.

2. “The Social Network” (2010)

Okay, this film takes us into the world of tech startups!

The characters in it are chasing success, no matter what the cost.

4. “Guru” (2007)

This hindi movie is about a guy named Gurukant Desai, who starts with almost nothing and builds a massive business empire. Having humble beginnings myself before building my business, I like it a little extra.

‘Guru’ looks at big dreams, ethics, and the hurdles that entrepreneurs face in a world that’s always changing. Honestly, it’s quite an interesting watch.

5. “Jerry Maguire” (1996)

Next up in the list is Jerry Maguire. A story about finding your way back and doing the right thing in business.

Tom Cruise plays Jerry, a sports agent who has a change of heart and starts his own agency.

The film looks at the challenges of sticking to your values while chasing professional success, and it celebrates the rewards of staying true to what you believe in.

6. Startup.com (2001)

This isn’t a movie; it’s a documentary. It gives you a close-up view of what happened to a dot-com company in the late 1990s.

The film follows two childhood friends, Tom Herman and Kaleil, as they try to get their internet startup, govWorks.com, off the ground.

It serves as a warning sign to viewers about the tough road of being an entrepreneur, trying to make a partnership work, and dealing with all the ups and downs in the ever-changing world of tech startups.

Now, picture this: the 2008 global financial crisis. That’s what “The Big Short” is all about.

It shines a light on how some folks saw the crisis coming and made some big bets against it.
