Xiaomi Confirms Launch of Redmi Note 13 Pro Series with 200-Megapixel Cameras

Xiaomi has officially announced that it will be launching the Redmi Note 13 Pro series in China later this month. The lineup will feature the Redmi Note 13 Pro and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ as successors to the previous Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ models. Xiaomi has teased that these upcoming smartphones will be equipped with impressive 200-megapixel rear camera units. Additionally, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has incorporated a new MediaTek chipset and a customized Samsung ISOCELL camera sensor in the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.

Through its official Weibo account, Xiaomi confirmed the upcoming launch of the Redmi Note 13 Pro series, sharing various teasers that highlight the camera specifications and chipset details of these smartphones. Xiaomi has collaborated with both Samsung and MediaTek for this new series.

The key highlight of the Redmi Note 13 Pro lineup is the inclusion of a remarkable 200-megapixel rear camera setup. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is expected to be powered by the new 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra SoC, offering improved performance over the standard Dimensity 7200 SoC found in devices like the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G and Vivo V27.

Moreover, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a customized version of the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor, enhancing image clarity. This customized Samsung sensor is expected to be identical to the 200-megapixel Samsung HPX sensor used in last year's Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.

Recent listings on the TENAA website have revealed the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ with model numbers 2312DRA50C and 2312DRA50C, respectively. According to these listings, both smartphones will boast a 6.67-inch OLED display and support 5G connectivity. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is anticipated to offer up to 18GB of RAM, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro is rumored to come with up to 16GB of RAM. The TENAA listing also suggests multiple RAM and storage configurations for these devices. Additionally, both models may feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Battery-wise, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is expected to house a 5,020mAh battery, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ may come with a slightly smaller 4,880mAh battery.
