To be Healthy is to possess or enjoy good health or a sound and vigorous mentality. A person who is healthy is well and is not suffering from illness.

Lifestyle is the way a person or a wider group of people choose to live. Lifestyle can be healthy or unhealthy, in terms of diet, level of exercise, sleeping habits, stress Management and mode of hygienic practice.

A healthful lifestyle provides the means to lead a full life with meaning and purpose. The best way to maintain health is to preserve it through a healthful lifestyle rather than waiting until sickness or infirmity to address health problems.A balanced diet, daily physical exercise, stress Management, adequate sleep and good personal hygiene are the keys to a Healthy Lifestyle.

The most important step for a person to have a healthy lifestyle is by taking care of his or her food intake. According to a researcher a person must eat three meals a day which are breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and he or she must control the size of the meal every time he or she wants to eat.

Also, do not skip any of the meal, most especially breakfast. Eat your breakfast early as possible. The researcer further state that people should avoid eating in a larger portion for dinner and dinner should be taken 3hours before the bed time, if possible. This reduce the risk of diabetes, unhealthy weight gain and heart disease. Besides, they suggest that people should consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains and fat-free or low-fat products. People should also choose lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts as it can decrease the cholesterol level and saturated fat in their body.

Physical activity is a cheap and strong means for prevention of diseases, improvement health and wellbeing, and it also promotes integration and social interaction. Exercise does not mean to go to gym or some club for daily activity; it only means to do some physical activity no matter how and where.Even if is just to trek a little far distance. Exercise not only makes you physically fitter but it also improves your all body health and general sense of well-being.

Getting enough sleep makes up a vitally important component of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. A chronic lack of sleep directly impacts on a person’s capacity to manage daily tasks, which, over time, manifests in an overwhelming sense of physical fatigue, malaise, impaired cognition and diminished wellbeing. Sleep is important for mental health. As an adult, you need to ensure you sleep for about 7 to 8 hours per day.

Reducing stress in everyday life is vital for maintaining healthy lifestyle as it can improve mood, boost immune function, promote longevity and allow being more productive.Stress accounts for 80 percent of all illnesses either directly or indirectly. Stress weakens the immune system and has other serious effects on the brain and body such as cardiovascular problems, and mental illness such as depression. Managing stress is all about taking charge-: taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with the problems.

For maintainance preservation and promotion of good health of the body, cleanliness is one of the basic steps. Practicing hygiene helps to live a healthy lifestyle. While Poor hygiene can lead to poor health. Hygiene is the practices one should adopt in homes and everyday lives to protect oneself, families and friends and colleague from infectious diseases. Ensure cleaniness in all the rooms in the home and home environment to prevent breeding of insects and microrganisms that can threaten health and well being. Also most importantly, ensure good personal hygiene.

Personal hygiene includes regularly and thorough washing of the person’s body, hair, hands, as well as brushing and flossing teeth, caring for gums and keeping the feet clean.Keeping body clean is vital in combating and preventing illness — both for oneself and for those around.
