The capital city’s Federal Government agencies have modified their working hours, as announced in a notification that was sent out today.

The statement states that effective immediately, all government agencies in Islamabad would adhere to the updated working hours.

The federal government’s offices will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The workday used to go from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Additionally, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, staff members will get a 30-minute lunch break and a prayer break.

Prior to this, the federal capital’s college and school schedules were also altered.
