Several Were Charged With Mining in Margalla Hills
RAWALPINDI: The Taxila police have detained several people who are allegedly engaged in explosives-based illegal mining in Margalla Hills.
Chaudhry Abdul Majeed, the owner of Faisal Hills, Rao Aslam, the president of B17, and Nadeem Sarwar, the secretary, are among those implicated.
A report claimed that the management of B17 and Faisal Hills planned unauthorized explosive explosions during the night, according to ASI Mohmand Khan.

In response to this report, a police unit arrived in the region between Faisal Hills and B17. The evidence suggests that the mountain explosion resulted in a significant number of rocks falling.
He said that unlawful mineral extraction has been going on for a while, in defiance of orders from the Supreme Court.
Further investigation led to the allegation that the Faisal Hills owner, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed, Khan Salim, the President of B17, Rao Aslam, the Secretary of B17, Nadeem Sarwar, and four other people had illegally extracted minerals from the Margalla Hills using large machinery and explosives.
