12 Illegal Housing Schemes Targeted in Massive LDA Operation
LAHORE: In a recent crackdown, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA)’s Private Housing Scheme (PHS) division conducted a large operation against 12 unlawful housing projects and land subdivisions.
The operation was carried out along Raiwind Road with the assistance of large police contingents and LDA officials, under the direction of Deputy Director Ali Sikho.
A number of illegal land subdivisions were targeted by the team, including those that were close to a public school, a mill, the Dream Housing Scheme on Raiwind Road, Al Madina Town, Ali Park, and Hammad Garden.

These illegal plans’ roads and drainage systems were destroyed during the operation.
The squad also locked the doors to the offices of Royal City, Gulberg Town, Azan Park, and homes near a marriage hall.
The spokesperson claims that the PHS wing’s broad operation is a part of ongoing efforts to stop unauthorised land subdivisions and housing projects in the city, as well as to ensure adherence to building codes and protect the general welfare.
