J. Robert Oppenheimer – Man behind the Manhattan Project

Oppenheimer is a 2023 epic biographical Movie written and directed by Christopher Nolan, based on Pulitzer Prize-winning biography (2005) called ‘American Prometheus. The Story revolves around the life and achievements of J Robert Oppenheimer. He was a theoretical physicist who was pivotal in developing the first Nuclear Weapons as part of the Manhattan Project, and thereby ushering in the Atomic age. Based on the 2005 biography American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, the film chronicles the life.

Director Christopher Nolan, known for brain-twisting films like “Interstellar” and “Inception has perfectly made a spine chilling thriller movie that has opened up to good responses from the audiences as well as film experts.

The project was announced in September 2021 after Universal Pictures won a bidding war for Nolan’s screenplay. Cillian Murphy (leading actor of “Peaky Blinders”)signed on to portray Oppenheimer in October. Others in the main cast joining between November 2021 and April 2022.

Another thing that make this movie more convincing to watch is that, Oppenheimer was filmed in a combination of IMAX 65 mm and 65mm large-format film—including, for the first time, sections in IMAX black-and-white analog photography. With such a eye soothing graphics and Picture Quality Oppenheimer is a Must to watch Movie.

the director revealed that the movie exceeded the actual amount in which production was to undertake. The amount was 100 M dollars (i.e. Rs. 820 crores) and exceeded to 180 M dollars (i.e. Rs. 1476 crores).

The day when the movie’s teaser was out everyone was expecting that the movie is going to be a “BIG BOOM”. The movie goes as per the expectations and storming the “Indian Cinemas”.

According to the reports the day – 1 collection of the movie was very impressive, collecting Rs 13- 14 crores (Beating its competitor “Barbie” that has its Day – 1 Collection of approx. 5 to 5.5 crores)
