From a very young age, Hadjar showed an immense interest in motorsports. At the tender age of seven, Isack began karting and was always interested in cars because of the computer-animated sports comedy movies Cars.

Isack’s grandparents and parents belong to the professions of either doctors or physicists. Therefore, it was an unusual career choice, but the young Hadjar received support from his parents. His father always watched F1 and one day, they brought him a kart when Isack was 7.

At 8, Isack competed in his first kart race in September 2012, and luckily he won. After a series of local karting championships, his natural talent behind the wheel quickly became evident. During the first two years, Hadjar competed in national championships, and in his final year of karting, he raced in the CIK-FIA European OK-Junior Championship, beating future Red Bull academy teammate Jak Crawford.

Transition To Single-Seater Racing

Isack’s early years in karting were marked by continuous improvement and success. He consistently climbed the ranks, participating in national and international competitions. In 2016, he secured his first major victory by winning the French Championship Cadet category, a significant milestone in his burgeoning career.

At the age of 15, Isack competed in his first car race in the French F4 championship in April 2019.  After eight further podiums and two pole positions, Hadjar finished third in the drivers’ standings. Similarly, he went on to become the 2019 Winner of the Winfield Trophy and Vice-Champion of France Junior.

The following years saw Isack Hadjar competing in various European championships, gaining valuable experience and honing his racing skills. His commitment to the sport and dedication to training paid off when he clinched the 2020 French Junior Karting Championship, a remarkable achievement for the young driver.

Formula Regional European Championship

Isack’s debut season in the French F4 Championship was impressive, as he consistently competed at the front of the grid. He secured several podium finishes and ended the season as the Vice-Champion, showcasing his adaptability to the more advanced and powerful race cars. In 2021, Isack came in 5th Overall in the Formula Regional European Championship, Europe. Likewise, the Frenchman scored his first points, along with his first rookie win, in the first round in Imola.

Afterward, Isack then proceeded to score his first podium in Barcelona and achieved his first Formula Regional victory in Monaco. On that same weekend, Hadjar finished second in race two. For the first time in the 2021 season, Hadjar dominated and won the FRECA (Formula Regional European Championship) in Monaco.

2023 FIA Formula 2 Championship

The year 2022 marked a pivotal moment in Isack Hadjar’s career as he stepped up to the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, a highly competitive series that serves as a stepping stone to Formula 1. Racing for the R-ace GP team once again, Isack faced tough competition from talented drivers around the world.

Hitech Pulse-Eight, a team lined up the Red Bull junior driver, including Hadjar, who came fourth in FIA Formula 3 in 2022. During the championship, Hadjar raced in several circuits, including that of Australia, Monaco, Austria, and the Netherlands.
