Bigg Boss OTT 2: Aashika Bhatia reacts to her eviction, says Manisha Rani deserves to be on the show

Bigg Boss OTT 2: Aashika Bhatia reacts to her eviction, says Manisha Rani deserves to be on the show

Aashika Bhatia recently had a conversation with Hindustan Times regarding her departure from Bigg Boss OTT 2 and her thoughts on fellow contestants. Following the conclusion of her journey in the house, the actress exited Bigg Boss OTT 2 over the past weekend. Her eviction was a result of receiving fewer votes than Manisha Rani, who emerged victorious in the voting process. Nevertheless, Aashika emphasized to Hindustan Times that her worth isn’t solely defined by this eviction incident.

Aashika found herself in competition with Manisha, who boasts a substantial and dedicated fan base. Does this situation make Aashika’s departure seem reasonable? In response, she explained, “It was a head-to-head nomination between just the two of us – Manisha and myself. Manisha has been an integral part of the house since its inception, displaying strength and earning her place. On the other hand, I had a brief stay of two weeks. Given these circumstances, I believe the outcome is justifiable.”

While several individuals who departed from the house prior to Aashika’s exit have expressed their discontent with the fairness of their eliminations, Aashika stands out as the first to openly align herself with the decision made by the public. Nevertheless, she added, “Those who left before me had been part of the show since its inception, whereas I joined as a wildcard entry. Take Manisha, for instance; she possesses stronger connections and, naturally, she received more support. Given that I only spent two weeks in the house, it’s understandable that people resonate more with her.”

Aashika’s journey within the confines of Bigg Boss OTT 2 was marked by a multitude of events. Among these, she candidly addressed her struggle with smoking addiction during a conversation with Pooja Bhatt. Reflecting on her time in the show, Aashika fondly reminisced, “I had a positive experience. Participating in my inaugural reality show was a unique encounter for me. While it presented its challenges, I exerted my utmost effort and remained authentic to my true self.”

Lately, skepticism about the authenticity of the show has surged on the internet following the circulation of a video depicting Pooja Bhatt using a phone and holding a paper that seemed to resemble a script. This raised questions about whether Bigg Boss is scripted, a suspicion held by many.

Addressing these concerns, Aashika Bhatia offered her perspective, saying, “I’m not aware of the video in question. During my time on the show, I haven’t personally come across anything like that. I have friends who participated in previous seasons, and based on my experience, I don’t believe it’s scripted. I can’t speak for others, but I haven’t encountered any such instances.”

In a recent incident, the mother of the actor, who appeared in “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo,” reacted to a comment made by contestant Elvish Yadav about Aashika’s attire. However, Aashika didn’t take offense. She clarified, “He didn’t make those comments about me behind my back. I’ve watched some clips from the show, and I understand his perspective. He actually told me about it. Later, he apologized and expressed remorse after Abhishek helped him see the situation differently. He had also directly communicated those remarks to my face. He often engages in playful banter, including sarcastic remarks. I wasn’t bothered by it.”

Furthermore, Aashika expressed her happiness at reuniting with her family upon returning home. “My mother was thrilled because her main wish was for me to enter the Bigg Boss house, and that’s been fulfilled. She would’ve been fine even if I got evicted in the first week. Her satisfaction stems from the fact that I didn’t engage in any wrongdoing or speak falsely.” Aashika also revealed her anticipation of spending time with her group of friends, including Manisha, Elvish, and Abhishek Malhan, whenever the opportunity arises.
