News, Otak Games – It could be due to the lack of enthusiasm for Skull and Bones among so many people gamers, but most tend to be focused on the future of Assassin’s Creed, instead of looking at the upcoming pirating game from Ubisoft.

It’s a good thing that Ubisoft is making its new major game completely available for free for a short period of time is what we should care about, surely? But, what happens to Skull and Bones is not important now that we have the release date for the Assassin’s Creed Red.

The recent unreal Engine ideas of the future AC title might appear like has only fuelled the fires of our desire to find out more. The information has landed our hands, so to say.

As per the VGC’s Andy Robinson, Assassin’s Creed Red will be released on March 20, 2025. It appears that this has been confirmed by Ubisoft themselves. With the release of a previous reveal trailer, we’ve been hoping that this wasn’t another case of accidentally releasing the game way too soon and if 2025 was the release date so far, we don’t need to be concerned.

Responses so far are… lukewarm at best. “So the next fiscal year is there’s no reason to be surprised,” was a comment that didn’t impress and others simply believed that 2025 was just an error and that it would launch in the coming year. That would be wonderful however it’s highly unlikely.

In all likelihood, the fact that Ezio was considered to be the highest point of the franchise is a major reason why fans don’t get excited over the news. How could you possibly top this momentous event in the story of the series? You can’t, quite frankly. It’s not the fact that Ubisoft will not come up with a new stellar RPG, but it will not ever replicate the feat that Ezio did over the course of a few years.

In the present it is possible to believe the word of sources they say Ubisoft is announced that 2025 will be the year that Assassin’s Creed the Red to be released either way, or continue waiting until Ubisoft releases a statement. We’re always optimistic and would prefer to believe that the Assassin’s creed game is coming out in 2025, but it’s not “confirmed”.
