On Saturday night, Alberta Ferretti and Vogue100 hosted a glittering dinner party during Paris Fashion Week. As the sun began to set over the City of Light, the celebration began at Ferretti’s atelier. The Rococo building, complete with frescos and swirling moldings, added an air of romance. Fashion Director of Vogue Mexico, Valentina Collado, served as hostess alongside Ms. Ferretti.

With flutes of Champagne in hand, guests moved through the dreamy space and admired the beautiful spring 2024 collection on display, which debuted just a week prior in Milan. Friends of the designer, like American tastemaker Olivia Palermo and Italian actress Caterina Murino, came to support.

Despite being midway through the marathon of PFW, the energy soared. Laughter and gossip filled the airy space. Princesses Chiara di Borbone delle Due Sicilie and Carolina di Borbone delle Due Sicilie, in their cool-toned gowns, looked at home in the gilded rooms. American singer and rising fashion star Saint Jhn chatted with editors and artists. Whimsical flower arrangements reflected Ferretti’s rich palette.

In 1968, Ferretti began her career when she opened her first boutique in the Province of Rimini. In the decades that followed, Ferretti rose to be a major player in Italian fashion and beyond through her eponymous brand and other labels. Her runway shows rank among the most exciting and influential in the world. She has dressed global power players from screen sirens like Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett to musical legends like Beyonce and Taylor Swift.

After the cocktail reception, attendees moved to Laurent, the storied mansion in the 8th Arrondissement. Shimmering figures in fashion and beyond—including Thomas Delage, Vogue France’s Fashion and Jewelry Market Editor, Elizabeth Sulcer, the star stylist, and Ari Lennox, the platinum-certified chanteuse—filled the restaurant that overlooks the lush Square Marigny. Over a candle-lit feast of caviar and cod, Vogue100 members, like investor Abbie McLaughlin and designer Nina Tiari, traded stories about their busy, fashion-filled days.

Dressed in a sheer black sheath, Collado introduced Ferretti, though she hardly needed one. “It is so wonderful to be surrounded by friends, new and old,” Ferretti said before raising a glass to toast the special moment.
