Dior launch new permanent Miss Dior Bag online

Dior have pre-launched a key new permanent bag, the Miss Dior Bag, on their website this week, several weeks ahead of their in-boutique launch on 19 October. Inspired by Catherine Dior (founding couturier Christian Dior’s sister), the bag has been affectionately nicknamed the “Miss Dior” and is embellished with the D, I, O, R hardware charms.

Ralph Lauren launches new book

American designer Ralph Lauren launched a new book this week, entitled Ralph Lauren: A Way of Living. Published by Rizzoli New York, the book commemorates the 40th anniversary of Lauren’s home collections, and is a comprehensive compendium dedicated to his signature stylings across interiors and fashion. The intimately written book spans decades of Lauren’s influence trailblazing innovations in the home industry and perfecting the art of hospitality.

Bottega Veneta open flagship store in Paris

Italian fashion House Bottega Veneta have opened their new Paris flagship store this week, the first to open under the Creative Direction of Matthieu Blazy. The two-storey space on Avenue Montaigne combines the House’s signature craftsmanship with a contemporary sensibility; Venetian glass and Italian walnut wood finishes taking visitors on a sensory journey. Intimate VIP dressing rooms and one-of-a-kind furnishings flank an open-plan retail space, Blazy’s signature ‘Drop’ motif interspersed on mirrors to create rippling reflections.

Louis Vuitton joins Discord

Louis Vuitton have announced their presence on video and text platform Discord, a new milestone for the Maison’s digital presence. The House is inviting all fashion, innovation and digital craftsmanship enthusiasts to join their server, promising to present their followers with an immersive and interactive experience that pushes boundaries and opens up new horizons for the Maison.

Ukrainian Women’s Fashion Industry Alliance (UWFIA) present at PFW

The UWFIA held a presentation in Paris this week as part of Paris Fashion Week, in support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The presentation showcased the works of UWFIA members like Nadya Dzyak, Grie, Chereshnivska, SAYYA and Tamar Keburia.

Founded by five Ukranian fashion designers, the collective emerged as a beacon of unity and empowerment, aiming to inspire women to follow their greatest ambition, attract attention to local brands, and actively contribute to the Ukrainian economy.
