Inside Gucci’s Sprawling New Space at NorthPark

Last month, Gucci unveiled its brand-new 12,000-square-foot Store at NorthPark Center. The luxury Italian fashion house had relocated from a smaller space in the shopping center and is now between Neiman Marcus and Dillards on level one. It has two entrances, one inside and one on the mall’s outdoor courtyard. The extensive new space is designed to look like a posh walk-in closet, with brass and marble details and shelf displays of the brand’s iconic purses along the walls. There are merino wool rugs and velvet arm chairs from Gucci’s decor line. There are also terracotta pots and cacti scattered around to give the store a Texas flair. Included in this space is an 800-square-foot boutique dedicated to the brand’s kid’s line.
