$SP.00) looks hard to beat against these for GaiBott. This guy has won two on the bounce, the latest coming four weeks ago at Randwick when leading all the way and credit to him, he was there to be beaten, but he found under pressure to fend them off and win. Tick over trial was good and with his racing style, he’ll give himself every chance.

2 Caballus (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) has to be respected. Chris Waller trained colt that caused somewhat of a surprise two weeks back at Randwick. He gave them a start and a beating, launching late under J Mac to get the win. That followed a plain debut but had trialled well prior to the debut so he might have the engine under the hood to measure up.

8 How Dare You (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) has found winning form and she can certainly go on with it. The win came at the midweeks at Canterbury when getting a suck run in transit near the speed and what I liked is that the race was there to be won and she dug in strongly when required. More depth here, but maps to do no work and has good upside.

$SP.00) is a nice horse for Ed Cummings. Bit of quality about his win at Hawkesbury first up before going to Randwick two weeks ago where he didn’t really get the rub of the green and was entitled to finish closer behind King Of Naples. Likely concedes a start but if the breaks go his way, he can certainly take this out.

9 Ellettrica (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is knocking on the door to win a Midway. Looked like she got the win a fortnight back at Randwick but the photo didn’t go her way, with Forecaster just getting the job done, but this mare did find the line with real purpose. If she’s within range and gets clear air, she has the finale to finish over the top and win.

14 Miss Einstein… (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) are the wheels off? Potentially, but back to Midway grade, I am giving her one last look. She ran at the midweeks at Canterbury last time when back off the speed and her a decent run in transit but was never a factor behind Media Starguest. Has run well at Rosehill and we know her best is good enough to be dangerous.

5 Wineglass Bay (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is third up from a break and should just about be ready to go. He was second up when racing at Randwick two weeks ago and looked the winner when J Mac presented him but he just found one better in Camaguey. Great third up record and now on the home deck, strikes a winnable 78…think he’s one of the better bets on the card.

4 Silent Agenda (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) has won up to 1900m so 1800m here should be fine. He ran over the Randwick mile two weeks back where he was well specked at odds given he would land on speed pretty comfortably. That eventuated and tried his guts out but couldn’t quite finish it off behind a very nice type, Tazaral. Back to 78 grade, good racing style, he’ll take beating.

2 Bazooka (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) tends to save his best for his home track here so I wouldn’t be dismissing him. He ran over the mile at Randwick a fortnight back and kept finding the line without threatening, being far from disgraced in defeat behind a good one, Tazaral. Like him up to 1800m and that was his first run in a month so he has room for improvement.

5 Wizard Of Oz (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is loving life under Danny Williams and confident he can atone for for the first up run. The more I watch the replay, the more I am convinced if he wins with clear air when Collett was probing. He didn’t get out at any stage when full of running and gee it was an ugly watch behind Iron Will. Hopefully he gets the rub of the green, hopefully on speed with clear air, and we’ll see the best of him.

12 Melody Again (Bet Now: 
$SP.00), potentially, is the best horse in the race, but the inside gate could be a nightmare given her pattern. She ran in the Highway mentioned above from a fortnight back. She just got a mile out of her ground and was never really a factor, but did make up a stack of ground. If the inside gate isn’t a negative, I am convinced she is going well enough to win.

8 Tags (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) has an awful racing pattern but if within range, he can launch. He ran two weeks back at Randwick in a Highway where he got back to near last in the run and spotted those in front way too much head start but I did like the way he found the line behind Iron Will. Like him up to 1300m and third up from a spell, should just about be hard fit, ready to go.

2 Extremely Lucky… (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is he here to make a statement towards The Everest? There is certainly a bit of hype around this former SA galloper because he was on track to be an Everest horse this time last year when with Clarken/O’Shea but as soon as you had that thought, the wheels fell off. Now with Waller, his trials have been electric and if he brings his best, he wins.

6 Devil’s Throat (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) has to be given another chance. I was keen on him running well last time at Grafton in the Ramornie but was wide throughout and in a sit/sprint, he was no hope when down the track behind The Big Goodbye. Kept up to the mark with a sharp trial win at Canterbury and he does save his best for Rosehill so I think he’s a big improver.

9 Curtis Island (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) has been a model of consistency this time in and has to be respected. He ran in the Insurrection race from two weeks back at Randwick where he was just off the speed and while he had every chance, he battled away really well in defeat behind the all the way winner. Doubt he wins, but can pinch a first four spot.

Third up from a spell, 1 Bella Rouge (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) should just about be at peak fitness and ready to go for Chris Waller. Just found the 88 grade a bit too hot fresh behind Wewillrock before going back to 78 grade two weeks ago at Randwick and she was the run of the race when back near last and making up a stack of ground when second to Anagain. Great set up for her here, she’s hard to beat.

9 Anagain (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) took forever to win a race for Joe Pride. Now she has…can she go on with it? That win came a fortnight back at Randwick where she gave them a start and a beating, rounding them up from near last for a big win. She is a hard mare to catch at times but now she has got a win on the board, her confidence is up and 1400m should be fine.

6 African Daisy (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is several weeks between runs for Annabel Neasham since racing over 1400m at Randwick when doing a bit of early work from the wide gate to land near the speed and tried hard but just didn’t have the zip in the legs to go with them late when a close up fourth to Fearnought. Maps to do no work, she’ll be around the mark.

$SP.00) seems a bit of a one paced type so back to 1400m is interesting but he is a nice horse. He ran three weeks ago here over 1500m where he got back in the run and made up good ground but just lacked the change up speed to win behind Kangaroo Court. Tick over trial last week was strong…just back in trip I find interesting but I’ll back the stable getting it right.

5 Freedom Rally (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is a very good horse for Tony Gollan and confident he can continue his winning ways. 3/3 this time in and has got better with each run/win it seems, the latest being over 1400m at Eagle Farm two weeks ago where he looked a moral on paper and duly saluted, winning quite comfortably after a suck run behind the speed. See no reason why he won’t win again.

6 Danish Prince (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is dangerous with his best. He ran three weeks back at Caulfield over 1400m where they rode with intent to lead before opting for cover. That probably sealed his fate because he doesn’t really have change up speed and although he whacked to the line, he was never a winning threat behind a very good horse, St Lawrence. With a proper positive ride, he can run a much improved race.

8 Griff (Bet Now: $31.00) will do me each way in an open race. Maher/Eustace trained three year old that has been kept on ice, having not raced since June 12 when an all the way winner at Warwick Farm over 1200m in a maiden, running fast late splits from the front in a dominant display. Lovely tick over trial to keep him up to the mark and is a proven 1200m performer, so he’ll be strong late whereas some of these will be gassed at the end.

5 Cigar Flick (Bet Now: $5.00) has the class/quality factor on her side to command respect. That class/quality, as well as a cool ride from Jason Collett, helped the filly resume with a win several weeks ago at Randwick, hugging the rail and drove through a very narrow gap to win. Staying at 1100m should be fine against these and with improvement to come, class, she’ll take beating.

7 Roussillon (Bet Now: $10.00) has to be given another chance. He ran in the Title Fighter race from two weeks back at The Valley. He was no chance the way the track played and was never a factor after getting back in the run. He tried to come wide and make a move but it was pointless. First up win at Gosford was strong and off that effort, he is good enough to win. Just wants a more fair track.

2 Pericles (Bet Now: $3.30) could easily stand up and make a statement here. He is a good horse for James Cummings that resumes after a mixed Autumn prep, more so positive than negative. He placed in the Rosehill Guineas before a down the track effort in the Derby. He ended the prep with a narrow second to Osipenko in the Frank Packer in what was a barrier trial basically. He looks ready to go off two trials and I do think 1400m-1600m will be his sweet spot.

4 Kalino (Bet Now: $6.50) is a beauty for Chris Waller and should prove hard to beat. Market wanted him with confidence late in the piece when resuming here three weeks ago and it was the ride that won the race. Ridden with intent to play towards the up/in pattern, he ended up landing box seat before angling clear and driving hard to win. He’ll take beating against these.

Long Shot

Fitter and up to 1400m are two big ticks for 12 Glint Of Silver (Bet Now: $18.00). He resumed in the Kalino race from three weeks back here. He did a bit too much work near the speed from the wide gate and that early burn just told late in the piece behind Kalino. Like him up in trip and with a more economical run in transit, he’s good enough to be dangerous.

$SP.00) is a Maher/Eustace four year old I have time for and confident he can resume with a win. He resumes, having not raced since New Years Eve at Randwick when a closing second to Yoshino, looming to win but the end of 1300m just found him out. Like him at 1100m fresh and his recent trial win at Randwick was very good. Happy to be in his corner.

13 Smashing Eagle (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is knocking on the door for the Ryan/Alexiou camp. Can easily make a case to say he wins at Randwick last time if he gets clear air instead of an unlucky fast finishing third behind Mogo Magic. Likely spots them a start but if he’s within range, he has the finale to launch and finish over the top.

Long Shot

1 Kir Royale (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) looks just about ready to win for Chris Waller. Bit on the plain side first up behind Miss Jay Fox at Randwick before going there again two weeks ago and was strong from just behind the speed, just not good enough to beat the very talented animal, Insurrection. That’s two 1100m runs under the belt so whether she’d like 1200m, not sure rather than staying at 1100m, but she’ll take beating on the home track.
