New Parliment Building Of India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the country’s new Parliament House or new Parliment Building to the nation on Sunday, May 28, 2023. The construction area of the new Parliament House is 64,500 square metres. 60 thousand laborers have got direct employment in making it.

Employment of more than 23 lakh man-days was generated from management to laborers associated with the project. It can be understood in such a way that if a person starts building the Parliament House, he would have to work for 23 lakh days, that is, it would take 6312 years. But its construction work which started in December 2020 has been completed in about two and a half years. This is also an achievement.

Structure Of New Parliment Building by 910 carpenters

Carpenters have been certified by Skill India for their contribution in creating a world-class infrastructure for the new Parliament House, representing India’s progress and democratic values. He has prepared the furniture of the new Parliament House in such a way that there is a seating arrangement for 888 members in the Lok Sabha and 384 in the Rajya Sabha. At the same time, there is a seating arrangement for 1,272 members in the Lok Sabha building during the joint session.

Trained and certified 910 carpenters under RPL accreditation by Furniture and Fitting Skill Council (FFSC) working under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in collaboration with NDMC Jurisdiction and Narsee Group in view of their nature of work While doing this, the Diploma Certificate of Skilled Worker has been given. It aims to enhance and encourage the skill training of carpenters.

Grand Constitution Hall, Three Galleries

A grand Constitution Hall has been built in the new Parliament House, in which India’s ancient culture, democratic traditions have been displayed. Along with this, lounge for MPs, rooms for various committees, dining area and adequate parking space have been arranged in the new Parliament House.

Swami Haridas, Tyagaraja’s paintings and musical instruments in the music gallery, expressions of Navaras, classical dance; At the same time, a glimpse of the Brihadeeswarar Temple-Tanjore to Auroville-Puducherry has been shown in the architectural gallery. Whereas in the craft gallery, a glimpse of craftsmanship ranging from stone, metal, wood to clothes is being seen.

Security at New Parliment Building

Cameras with thermal imaging system and face recognition system have been installed in the new Parliament House. These help in preventing suspicious activities. Update CCTV system, works on 360 degree. The special thing is that even if a person tries to enter the Parliament House complex from the opposite direction of rotation of the camera, he will be caught.

Sources say that no hacker can break into the equipment here. The new Parliament House has been equipped with a foolproof cyber system. The experts who have designed this system have named it as ‘state of the art’ cyber security.
