Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ Roars at the Global Box Office
‘Leo’, directed by Thalapathy Vijay, is destroying it at the Movie office globally. The movie is currently approaching the Rs 450-Crore milestone internationally.
The movie is expected to have made about Rs 49 crore net on Sunday, October 22 in India.
‘Leo’ has been doing remarkably well at the movie office, even in spite of conflicting reviews. The team led by Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is pleased with the replies.
‘Leo’ starring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, debuted in cinemas in a number of languages on October 19. It was among the most eagerly awaited films of 2023.
‘Leo’ has reportedly made more than Rs 400 crore ($48 million) globally. Sreedhar Pillai, a trade expert, shared the figures on X (previously Twitter).
‘Leo’ had a great day at the domestic Box Office on Sunday, October 22. The movie is reported to have made close to Rs 50 crore based on early estimations.
The movie appears to have made Rs 28 crore net in Tamil Nadu. The movie brought in an estimated Rs 8 crore in Kerala, Rs 5 crore in Karnataka, and Rs 4 crore in Andhra Pradesh-Telangana.
Global Success of ‘Leo’: International Box Office Triumph
The ROI (Return on Investment) gross was Rs 4 crore, according to the Sacnilk report. In India, the movie brought in about Rs 49 crore as of October 22.
‘Leo’ is doing really well not just in India but even abroad.
After “Master,” “Leo” is Thalapathy Vijay and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj’s second joint project. The screenplay for this movie was written by Deeraj Vaidy, Lokesh, and Rathna Kumar.
