India vs Pakistan World Cup : Pandya dismiss Imam as Pakistan Lose Both Openers

At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Pakistan’s openers Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq were bowled for 20 and 36 runs, respectively, as India tried to put pressure.

Imam and Shafique, Pakistan’s opening batsmen, enjoyed a strong start when the national team was given the opportunity to bat by India during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

Shafique was dumped by Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj, and Imam was dumped by Indian fast bowler Hardik Pandya.

On the ground are Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.

After India decided to send the national team to bat, Imam-ul-Haque and Shafique got Pakistan off to a solid start with both hitting boundaries.

“We were also considering fielding. We’ve had two solid victories. We want to maintain the strong momentum we now have. We are taking advantage of the crowded stadium and simply want to have fun. We must excel in this area. Our practise sessions have gone well. Same team,” remarked Babar Azam, the Pakistani team captain.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian team, said: “It is a dream for us, and we are all going to experience it. We want to chase since it won’t alter much and dew will also be an issue. We want to continue aiming for the best and play every day.

The squad wants to get off to a good start, play well, and give it their all, he continued.

“Keeping yourself and the environment comfortable is the most crucial thing. Feel for Ishan since Gill has taken Ishan’s place. Although he has stepped up, Gill has been a fantastic player for us, according to Sharma.
Due to a significant Indian presence after Pakistani supporters from across the border were unable to obtain visas, the largest cricket stadium in the world was a sea of blue.

The two teams are vying for victory as they square off in this match on Indian soil after a decade apart under the leadership of Babar Azam and Rohit Sharma, respectively.
