Thai actress Davika Hoorne has been chosen by Gucci to serve as its newest brand ambassador for the Gucci and Gucci Beauty brands.

Hoorne, a notable Thai entertainer who has showed up in both significant movies and TV series, declared her new job at the rich style organization on her own Instagram account, , stating, “I’m truly regarded and grateful for the opportunity to act as a brand minister for Gucci and Gucci Excellence. Here, I’ll give my best. Numerous thanks.loveeeee”

The Italian fashion business picked Hoorne, who has 17 million Instagram followers, to be its first-ever Thai ambassador. This follows Alia Bhatt’s selection as the company’s first-ever Indian ambassador last summer.

Gyuyoung Park, a South Korean actress, was chosen earlier this month to serve as Gucci’s newest global brand ambassador, confirming the luxury brand’s preference for brand ambassadors from Korea and other surrounding Asian nations.

Along with other Gucci ambassadors including Kendall Jenner, Bad Bunny, Julia Garner, A$AP Rocky, and Elliott Page, Park and Hoorne represent Gucci throughout Asia alongside other actors and singers Xiao Zhan and Ni Ni from China.

Who is Davika Hoorne?

Prior to making her acting debut in the Thai drama series Ngao Kammathep, Hoorne started her career in 2010 as a model. Throughout the 2010s, she went on to feature in the films Heart Attack, Pee Mak Phra Khanong, and Suddenly Twenty in addition to the drama series My Ambulance, whose music she also provided.

Hoorne is no stranger to the fashion and beauty industries; she has posed for brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Michael Kors and served as a spokeswoman for L’Oréal in the past.
