Indian Government Plans to Build Cutting-Edge ‘Tech Museum’ in the Nation’s Capital

Official documents state that the Union government plans to build a “Tech Museum” in the nation’s capital to showcase India’s current and future technological advancements.

The cutting edge exhibition hall at the Nav Bharat Udyan, which is being based on the western banks of the Yamuna waterway, will be arranged, planned, and created, as indicated by a solicitation for recommendations gave by the CPWD, the top development organization of the Middle.

The ‘Tech Museum‘ would be a premium exhibition space dedicated to giving visitors a better knowledge of the most recent technology being employed by India and inspiring pride in them about the accomplishments of the country in a variety of disciplines, according to the papers.

According to the documents, in order to give visitors a seamless and immersive experience, the exhibits must be presented using futuristic, cutting-edge, or novel technologies like 3-D mapping, touch-enabled displays, holograms, AV projection, multi-touch interactive tables, touch kiosks, QR Code information, and LED projection walls in addition to contemporary acoustics.

The request for proposals (REP) document from the CPWD said, “It is intended for the Tech Dome to be a technological marvel being not dependent on any specific technology but utilising the most effective tools of communications befitting an environment of exhibition.

It stated that the chosen consultants would be responsible with building the technology museum, generating material based on approved themes, and using futuristic technologies to show the content in order to provide visitors a top-notch experience.

The government’s Central Vista rehabilitation project includes the construction of the Nav Bharat Udyan on the western bank of the Yamuna.

Rashtrapati Bhavan and India Gate are both located along the Central Vista. The Central Vista Axis will be visually integrated according to the Master Plan from the current 2.9 km to 6.3 km from the ridge to the river.
