This week will see the theatrical debut of Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana. The movie, a follow-up to the hugely successful Dreamgirl from 2019, also stars Ananya Panday as Ayushmann’s love interest. Under their production company Balaji Motion Pictures, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor have supported the movie.
The film has gained more attention because to its original and humorous trailer, which features catchy music. The marketing team devised a unique marketing plan that included Pooja, the lead character in Ayushmann, engaging in amusing exchanges with well-known characters like Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Ranveer Singh’s Rocky.
In a recent video, seasoned actor Jeetendra, the father of well-known Bollywood producer and TV czarina Ekta Kapoor, had a lighthearted and humorous talk with Pooja that had the viewers and admirers in fits of laughter.

When Pooja answers the phone, she says, “Oh my god, paye lagu uncle,” to which Jeetendra immediately responds, “Uncle nahi! My name is Jeetu. You can also call me Jeets. When the old actor hears Pooja say, “Aapka naam lene mein darr lagta hai,” he ingeniously quips, “Darr ke aage jeet hai, aur jeet ke aage Jeetendra.”

He asks if she’s arrived yet. Pooja responds with a smile, “Aapke toh ghar ki baat hai, ghar par puch lijiye.” “Ghar me ‘Ekta’ nahi hai,” the star responds, “mera matlab bahar gayi hai, and waise tumhare hote hue ‘Shobha’ nahi deta ki mai kisi aur se puchu, tum hi bata do na.”

The movie, which is one of Ayushman’s best works, is directed by Raaj Shaandilya and produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor. It has an ensemble cast that includes Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, and Manoj Joshi in addition to Ananya Panday and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles. On August 25, the movie will be released in theatres.
