It features Ayushmann’s Karam speaking to a credit card salesman on the phone with a woman’s voice. We quickly learn about his father’s (Annu Kapoor) severe debt problems. The following scene has Ananya Panday as Karam’s love interest before introducing Ayushmann dressed as Pooja, a gorgeous woman.

Several men are seen falling for Pooja, and Ayushmann is willing to take advantage of them in order to pay off his debt and appease Ananya’s father. When Pooja, played by Ayushmann, is forced to wed Shah Rukh Khan (Abhishek Banerjee), however, things only become more difficult.

The 2019 film Dream Girl featured Ayushmann as a call centre agent who pretended to be Pooja while speaking to callers in a female voice. Dream Girl 2 is a spiritual successor to the film. The spiritual successor to the 2019 film Dream Girl features Ayushmann as a contact centre agent who impersonates Pooja to speak to callers.

In Dream Girl 2, which was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Seema Pahwa, and Vijay Raaz also appear.

The sequel to Dream Girl is scheduled to hit theatres on August 25.
