With Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh has provided some of their best performances. In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, the couple first appeared together. On the sets, they fell in love with one another, and in 2018, they were wed.
Rumour has it that the two will take on the lead parts in the second episode of Ayaan Mukherjee’s mythical sci-fi flick Brahamastra. But on Sunday, Ranveer pleasantly surprised his audience with a secret endeavour.
The actor from “83” just posted a video on his Instagram page that also features Deepika. The actress can be heard saying, “Mere husband kal raat se gayab hai [My husband has been missing since last night]” at the beginning of the video.
The video turns to Ranveer Singh conversing with Chellam Sir from the popular Amazon Prime series The Family Man while an exciting tune plays in the background. he announces, “Sir, target found.”
The surprise does not stop here. Along with the famous pair, actor Ram Charan of RRR fame and actress Trisha Krishnan from Ponniyin Selvan also appeared
in the video. Netizens are eagerly awaiting the project’s announcement after the video went viral. “Damnnnn I’m waiting,” a fan wrote beneath the photo along with fire emojis. Another admirer remarked, “Nice to see both of them in a serious character.”
However, internet users are also speculating that the project might be a commercial. Under the post, a person wrote, “DON’T TELL ME ITS AN AD????.” With crying emojis, another fan said, “I hope this is not some meesho ad.”
The actors are currently occupied working on their individual projects. Deepika is currently filming Project K, her Telugu debut, and Fighter, an action movie starring Hrithik Roshan. While Ranveer is promoting Karan Johar’s upcoming family drama Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahani, set for release on July 28, 2023.
